CONCEPT:

As a social anchor, Hume Community Housing advocates a village approach to community living, providing opportunity to communities for self-empowerment.

To promote a welcoming area for everyone to enjoy and be proud to call home, residents of community housing in Hume’s Telopea locations were invited to several art-making workshops to create and share in the pre-production of public art on their home turf.

From these sessions, a variety of illustrated and photographed outcomes were synthesised into the final vibrant public artworks.
